So here I am, back again with our winner for Challenge 7.  First of all let me say a big Thankyou to our sponsors, Sunshine's Stamps.  Please go over to their site and have a look around at the wonderful images they have.

Our winner was chosen, as usual, using Random.org...

So congratulations go to Yvonne (Scrappy).  So let me know which 3 images you would like from Sunshine's Stamps and I'll forward the details on.  Email me on cardsformen@donnasden.co.uk.

Now onto our top 3.  As ever this was difficult but I managed in the end.

Well done to the three of you.  Feel free to grab the 'Top 3' blinkie from the sidebar and display it on your own.  Don't forget to take a look at Challenge 8 - Fancy Folds.

Challenge No. 8

Challenge no 8 is sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs which is owned by the wonderful Heather Dennis.  I asked Heather about herself and FBD and here is what she had to say....

Hi. I am Heather Dennis. I am a homeschooling mother of 2 wonderful children, the wife of 12 years to the love of my life, a Christian and the owner of Fresh Brewed Designs.  I have loved to draw and create ever since I was a child. My daughter has inherited my love of art and recently inspired me to start creating again.
All the images in my shop are hand drawn. I offer a wide range of images from coffee, cute and inspirational.I also  love to create custom drawn images, so if you are looking for anything in particular, please feel free to drop me an email.

The prize up for grabs is a $10 gift certificate to spend at Fresh Brewed Designs and our theme this time is 'Fancy Folds'.  By that we mean anything other than a basic bi-fold card.  Of course there's also the golden rule of being for a man/boy.

The challenge is open until midnight BST (British Summer Time) on the 25th April 2010 and the rules are

1. The card must be for a man/boy.
2. You need to follow the theme/sketch that is set.
3. It must be a new card.

Leave your name and a direct link to your entry (not just to your blog) in Mr Linky at the bottom of this post.  If Mr Linky is not there for some reason then leave the details in the comments and I'll add you in when I'm doing the draw.

I made a but of a 'booboo' this week and neglected to give the Design Team all the details until yesterday when Shirley prompted me for the missing information.  Consequently, some may be a bit delayed in posting their card but here are some initial ideas for inspiration.

I'll add in the other DT cards as I get them but hopefully we've given you some ideas.  The details are on each person's individual blog.

Challenge No. 7

I'm sorry that this post is late, but better late than never, as they say.  I'll be back later with a winner and our top three.

This fortnight's challenge is sponsored by Sunshine's Stamps.  Here's some information about them.

Sunshine’s Stamps is the brainchild of Christina {Sunshine} and Rob.  Angus Argus was launched into the paper crafting world on June 27th, 2009 and the rest as they say is history!  We have a wide variety of stamps in our inventory - all of which are hand drawn by either Sunshine or Rob.  We love to “sunshine” masculine vehicles and give them personality. We also have our signature image - Sunny Bunny - who will continue to be altered to celebrate all holidays and occasions.  If you have a suggestion for a Sunny Bunny send us an e-mail and we will happily consider it!  Whether it’s a card for your husband, boyfriend, man-cub or daughter, wife etc. we have an image that will suit your crafting needs! Our images are constantly evolving and are unique in the paper crafting world. We are very pleased to say that we respond to customer suggestion on images and sentiments. If you have an idea for an image or sentiment that you cannot find elsewhere on the web let us know. We will respond to all suggestions and let you know if its "doable". Finally, be sure to hop to our blog http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com/ to check out our wonderful design team "Sunshine's Dream Team" blogs! We are so very proud of our gals! They are all rock stars and continue to create amazing cards and projects to showcase our images and to inspire you all to create!!

The images created by Sunshine's stamps are wonderful and very funny so we decided that our theme for this challenge would be 'Humour'.  Get your thinking caps on and send us some giggles.  The prize is three digi images of your choice from Sunshine's Stamps.  Get on over there and have a look at what they have on offer.

The challenge is open until midnight BST (British Summer Time) on the 11th April 2010 and the rules are

1. The card must be for a man/boy.
2. You need to follow the theme/sketch that is set.

Take a look at our Design Team for inspiration.  You may notice that there's been a change.  Lisa (aka wishcraft) has decided to step down from our team due to other commitments.  We all wish her well and know that she will pop by to join in our challenges from time to time.  We're also welcoming a new member, Issy.  Pop over to have a look at her wonderful blog.

That's us done.  Get entering.  Let's see if we can top the 100 barrier again!!

Challenge No.6

Wow, the fortnight's are just whizzing by, don't you think.  It seems that Paper Piecing was not so popular?  That's a shame, maybe if we can put together our own step-by step instructions specifically using digi images, would that help?  I enjoyed it and would definitely do it again and the entries we had were all wonderful.

I'll be announcing the winner together with our top three and the candy winner later on today.  In the meantime, I'd like to say a big thankyou once again to our sponsors, The Stamping Boutique.

Now onto this challenge.  We have a wonderful sponsor this week, which is

The theme of our challenge is simply 'Happy Birthday' and the prize from Praire Fairy is your choice of 3 digi stamps.  Here's what Roberta had to say about herself and Praire Fairy, when we asked....

Hello! I am Roberta from Prairie Fairy Designs. I am a new digital stamp company featuring artwork not only created by me but also my two kids, ages 8 and 11. They are featured on the site as the Fairy Princess and the Prairie Prince.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and have always loved to create.  Two years ago my sister-in-law invited me to a rubber stamp party. I laughed and said "Maybe I will buy something if I can use it to stamp on canvases.". Needless to say, I was hooked! Two years later and a lot of learning about computers, I have finally accomplished my goal.

While digital stamping is relatively new in the papercrafting scene, it is what I believe to be such an amazing tool. Printed images have such clarity and vibrancy and gone is the need to re stamp an image because you didn't press hard enough or maybe you pressed too hard! They are also a lot easier to store and they can be reprinted over and over again. The fact that you can rotate and flip files, print them off the size of a postage stamp or as large as a scrapbook page makes them such a versatile medium. It is my sincere hope that I can help anyone who has hesitations about using digital images to embrace these amazing creative tools. If you have any questions about going digital, check out the site and the blog for more information. So head on over to http://www.prairiefairydesigns.com/ and check it out!

Here are some ideas to inspire you...

So there you have them, our wonderful DT efforts.  The challenge is open until midnight GMT on the 28th March 2010 and the rules are

1. The card must be for a man/boy.
2. You need to follow the theme/sketch that is set.

3. It must be a new card.

Leave your name and a direct link to your entry (not just to your blog) in Mr Linky below.  If Mr Linky is not there for some reason then leave the details in the comments and I'll add you in when I'm doing the draw.

Hey, we've reached 250 followers this week.  I'm so pleased that I thought I'd offer up a little candy and see if we can get it up to 300, lol.

I inadvertently bought two of the same digi image from Phindy's Place (I'm sure I'm not the only one to have done that!) so am offering the second as a small candy.  I checked with the owner and she said it was fine.

Isn't he great.  The image is called 'Big Boots to Fill' and I love it.

So to be in with a chance of winning your own copy of this image leave your details with Mr Linky.  If you'd like to add yourself to our followers that would be great.  I'll close the draw Sunday 14th March at midnight GMT and announce the winner on Monday 15th March.  Don't forget we have a great challenge going on at the moment with the offer of 5 digi images from the sponsor 'The Stamping Boutique'.  Please have a go as we love to see your creations.
