Challenge 14 - 'Happy Birthday'

Oh my goodness, the time is flying past.  Another great challenge has finished with some fabulous entries.  The challenge this time is a nice easy one.  We want to see your Birthday Cards, but remember it must be male!  We have a new sponsor this week, Di's Digi Downloads

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

So if you haven't already take a look at Di's Digi Downloads, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.  While you're there you can think about how you'd spend the $10 prize (should you be the lucky winner).

We can't wait to see your entries, but in case you need it, here's some inspiratin from our wonderful design team:

Challenge 13 - Sports with a sentiment

I'm so sorry to be late this morning with the new challenge.  I have to confess, I completely forgot!  Thought I'd done it and was happily going about my housework (not!) when I remembered.

So the last challenge was very popular with 256 entries.  Please understand if we didn't manage to comment on your entry but our team is quite small at the moment and we can't always manage it on large numbers.  We do, however, appreciate all of you who take the time to enter and follow us.  We'd be nothing without you all.

The challenge this time is sponsored by Digital Delights who have been a regular sponsor for a while now.

Welcome to Digital Delights, a magical place filled with my little digi creations from all walks of life. We have a wide range of digital stamps which are delivered straight to your email 24/7!!

We got some great images to work with and here is the ideas from the Design Team:

Congratulations 2012

Jen

Aren't they wonderful.  I'm really proud of my design team, they're great to work with.  We currently need about 4 new members to join our happy team so if you're interested in working with us then enter the challenge and put DT after your name.  We don't have a lot of rules but you do need to be able to make a card for each fortnightly challenge, often using sponsor images.  Comment on the entries on a rota basis and take turns at posting the challenge and winner/top 3 posts.  I hope you will be encouraged to enter because it's great to see everyone's work although it is really hard to choose the best.

On the subject of winners, I am a bit behind but will post a round up of winners and prizes this evening.

Lastly, we need some challenge rules:

1. Your card must be new for this challenge and follow the theme set.
2. Your card must be for a man/boy.
3. Your post must include a link back to Cards for Men.

The challenge will run from now until midnight on 3rd June 2012.  Leave a link to your card (not just your blog) in the link list below.  If it's not there for some reason, leave a comment and I'll add you in before the draw.  Good luck!

I'm a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but I love them all. I'm truly blessed.

Our designers are chosen for their character and personality,as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best.
