Birthday Card for my Dad

Well this is my first entry on this blog.  As you can see it is a card I made for my Dad whose birthday is on Easter Sunday.  I am also entering it in the Crafty Goings On blog candy in the vain hope of winning that wonderful set of Copic Markers.  To make it I've used:
  • Card - Bazill Basics Classic - Carob
  • Image - Gardening George - downloadable image from Crafty Goings On
  • Paper, Chipboards, Ribbon - Dovecraft Masculine range
With the exception of the image, the items are for sale in my shop http://www.donnasdenofcrafts.co.uk/.  This is the first time I've attempted my own image and I found it very therapeutic.  I've certainly gained the confidence to give it another go.

  1. Ooh I love this one Donna!! I always struggle with male cards - used the same backing paper for my Grandpa's card that I made recently, but I just never know what images or embellishments will suit. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

  5. Fab card Donna and this blog is going to be FABULOUS. I'm trying to get more manly stuff into my stash as there's only so many times you can give someone a card on the same theme.
Keep up the good work and I'm following .... oh and good luck with the challenge for the copic markers.
